What Is A Community Mental Health Center?
Community-based mental health model in the framework of severe mental disorder (cognitive, managerial and social skills in the areas of disability due to the devastating impact of chronic mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders and mood disorders with outgoing) patients, the provision of psychosocial support services, follow-up and implementation of home health services in need of treatment can be presented in an integrated manner in their environment, in order to ensure their social rehabilitation, the centers operating under the bedded health facilities belonging to the Ministry of Health are called Community Mental Health Centers.
Our Community Mental Health Center was established on 02.10.2015 and provides services to psychiatrist physicians, nurses, psychologists and social workers and their clients.
Our services
To give information about the functioning of the center to the patients and their relatives,
Providing individual counseling services to patients,
Group therapy, Good Morning Meetings,
To provide psychosocial skills training with the aim of developing daily life skills,
To organize a practice therapy such as painting and crafts according to the condition of the patient.,
To provide psycho-education to the patients and their families in order to raise awareness about the disease,
Contact the patient or his / her relatives who are unable to attend the center and establish the connection of the center with the patient,
To follow up on regular treatment of patients who are continued to the center, to ensure their participation and compliance with treatment
To make studies about informing the society and anti-stigma.
Together with these;
Co-operation with Keçiören Public Education Center is being carried out and handicraft teachers also serve our clients.
In cooperation with the municipality of Keçiören, sightseeing, sports, picnicking ... etc. activities are carried out.
How To Apply To Community Mental Health Centers?
The Center identifies patients with severe mental illness in the area connected to it and contacts the patient and his / her relatives via telephone.,
Patients and their relatives are invited to the center by informing them about the center and applications.,
Patients who are unable to come to the center are visited at home and their status is determined and invited to the center,
Patients with severe mental illness who wish to benefit from the services of the center can apply to the center himself or by the patient's relatives can apply.
